
Daniel J Mannix is a certified US lacrosse coach who has been coaching for more than three decades in addition to his executive role as vice president and chief operating officer of Kemp & Associates. At Kemp & Associates Daniel J Mannix and his team have made significant contributions to medical facilities, including the Primary Children’s Hospital.
Primary Children’s Hospital recently launched HerediGene®, the world’s biggest single-population research. The HerediGene Population Study is a multi-year research project aimed at discovering links between genes and human disease, finding novel therapies, and improving the hospital’s capacity to detect and prevent complex diseases. Primary Children’s Hospital plans to recruit 500,000 people in the research, with 50,000 of them being children below 18 years old. Anyone who lives in the United States is eligible to participate in the study.
Primary Children’s Hospital is a Level I pediatric trauma hospital with 289 beds that treats children with severe illnesses and injuries, including birth abnormalities. The hospital is a non-profit health care institution and the University of Utah School of Medicine’s pediatric teaching hospital.
